Native Linux
FMOD Studio now has a native Linux version with support for a wide range of distributions.
The majority of the functionality supported on Windows and macOS is carried over to Linux with a few caveats:
Much like the macOS version, be mindful of supported export formats when building banks - console specific formats (XMA / AT9) do not have Linux encoders available for us to use.
There is currently no support for control surfaces.
Event Min / Max Distance
The concept of minimum and maximum distance for spatialization and attenuation has long been a feature of FMOD spatializers. Now these properties have been promoted up to the event level.
This means any spatializer can now take advantage of min/max automation and modulation for greater flexibility. For compatibility, the 3D and object spatializers now provide an override for event min/max distance to retain the previous individual behavior.
Additionally by lifting these properties to the event level we can support the new built-in normalized distance parameter. Using a scale that runs from 0 (representing your event’s min distance) to 1 (representing your event’s max distance) you can design custom curves that can be shared between events with different min/max distance ranges.
Note: When migrating a project from a version earlier than 2.02, the event min/max distance will be set to match the values of the first FMOD spatializer or object spatializer found on the event. Additionally, preset FMOD spatializers and object spatializers will all be set to override with their current values.
Output Ports
Sending audio to auxiliary output ports has traditionally been a programmer task, but now it's part of the sound designer workflow within FMOD Studio.
With ports, you can make use of your target platforms' features for handling online voice chat and in-game music, route sound to individual controller and headset speakers, control controller vibration, and more.
The master bus is now shown in the routing browser, highlighting the fact that the new port buses are siblings, representing additional outputs from the system. You can specify the destination of each port within the port macros area of the mixer deck.
Improved Flexibility
With every release we try to add more flexibility. Here are some recent additions:

New Modeling Capabilities
[REV C] NBO version 7 is supported. There are new options to the Population keyword: Pop=NPA7, Pop=NBO7, Pop=NBO7Read and Pop=NBO7Delete request Natural Population Analysis, full Natural Bond Orbital Analysis, full NBO with NBO input read from the input stream and NBO analysis of the effects of deletion of some interactions (respectively), using NBO7 via the external interface. In addition, Pop=NEDA is used to perform Natural Energy Decomposition Analysis. The analysis uses the same input information about fragments as counterpoise calculations. Deletions and optimizations with deletions now work with either NBO6 or NBO7.
[REV C] The RESP (restrained electrostatic potential) constraint can be included in computing potential-derived charges. For example, Pop=(MK,Resp=N) applies a weight of N x 10-6 Hartrees to the squared charges. Other electrostatic potential-derived charge schemes also accept this option (e.g., CHelp, HLY). N defaults to 2.
[REV C] Pop=SaveHirshfeld and Pop=SaveCM5 cause the specified charges to be saved as the MM charges to be used in a subsequent calculation.
[REV B] Static Raman intensities can be computed for excited states at the CIS and TD levels of theory. TD Freq=Raman computes the polarizability by numerical differentiation with respect to an electric field, so the cost of Freq=Raman for these methods is 7x that of the frequencies without Raman intensities.

Mail Merge Toolkit Microsoft Office Microsoft OutlookMicrosoft Word Microsoft Publisher HTMLRTF

As soon as you need to personalize part of message subject or the whole subject line, you need Mail Merge Toolkit. Insert data fields into the message subject, so that not only the contents of a message but also its subject is personalized.

As soon as Mail Merge Toolkit is installed, you can attach files to the message. Perform the mail merge the same way as you do it usually and click the “Mail Merge Toolkit” option on the last step of the “Step by step wizard” in Microsoft Word to specify the necessary attachments.

Mail Merge Toolkit offers a way to send personal attachments. You just need to specify the path to the file in a separate column in the data source (Excel spreadsheet, CSV, database, etc.) and enter the name of this field instead of the attachments in the Mail Merge Toolkit.
 PDF
Microsoft Word Mail Merge allows you to personalize HTML messages, but what if you need to send it as a PDF? Try Mail Merge Toolkit, the only way to distribute a number of personalized PDF files with a few mouse clicks. You just need a select “PDF attachment” in the message format and fill in the text which will be displayed in the message body.
 PDF DOCX
When sending personalized documents, you can protect secure files with a password. This feature prevents unauthorized users from accessing, copying, editing, and printing sensitive data. Encrypt documents with a single password or different individual ones.
 SharePoint
If the data source with the message recipients data stored in a List on a Microsoft SharePoint Server, the Mail Merge Toolkit offers you a way to get data from this lists and use it for mail merging! You do not need to ask your SharePoint Administrator to install something on the server and you do not need to allow the exporting of the list to a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet. Just use the Mail Merge Toolkit to perform your mailing by getting the data from a known and constant source.

Use the Mail Merge Toolkit to send HTML or RTF messages from Microsoft Word without Microsoft Outlook security prompts and maintain internal Internet links. In particular, Mail Merge in Microsoft Word provides a higher level of correspondence safety. Mail Merge Toolkit is compatible with all recent versions of the Microsoft Word, so, mail merging in Word isn’t a problem any longer!
