Challenge of USB redirection to Remote Desktop
When you work in a remote desktop environment, getting access to your locally plugged USB devices can be quite problematic. In some cases you still can use some workarounds like plugging the USB device into the remote machine directly but in the most cases it’s not a solution.
FabulaTech solution
USB for Remote Desktop is a software allowing redirection of locally plugged USB devices to your remote desktop session. It appears like the USB device is plugged directly to the remote side.
The program consists of Server and Workstation parts. The Workstation part is installed on the local computer or thin client where USB devices are physically plugged. The Server part is installed on the remote side you are connecting to via Microsoft RDP, Teradici PCoIP or Citrix ICA. The Server part makes redirected USB devices available for remotely logged users.
The program supports a wide range of USB hardware and does not require any special configuration.
Supports Windows and Linux as a remote desktop in different configurations
USB for Remote Desktop supports Windows and Linux remote desktops. It does not matter what protocol is used for accessing the remote side — Microsoft RDP, Teradici PCoIP, Citrix ICA. It does not matter what environment is used — Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Terminal Services, Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, VMware View, Amazon Workspaces and others.
Any compatible Windows and Linux Client software can be used for accessing remote Windows and Linux side. And there is no need to change firewall settings.
Driver-free solution
USB for Remote Desktop does not require USB device drivers on the local machine or thin client. So, any new USB device can be redirected to the remote desktop session without installing USB device drivers.
Works with any USB devices
The program is not limited to some specific models of USB devices. It is compatible with any of them. So, it is really universal solution for USB device redirection. Even the most exotic USB devices can be redirected to your remote desktop environment.
Auto-redirecting of hot-plugged USB devices
Using the Administrative Utility, USB for Remote Desktop can be configured to redirect any newly plugged USB device immediately...

1. INTEGRATION WITH THE IDE
1.1. General Integration Notes
CodeSMART is tightly integrated with Visual Studio - all its commands and tools are accessible through the main menu and four toolbars it adds to the environment, as well as from the code window popup menu. Other CodeSMART tools are hosted or display their results within special tool windows - for example, pictured below are the 'VS10x CodeMap' and the CodeSMART 'Find and Replace 1' windows.
2. EXPLORER TOOLS
2.1. CodeMap
Have a look at the small sample below. Notice the way nested types are represented, as well as the implemented interface. The region sub-container is prefixed with a # for an easier identification. Members have distinctive icons, with special overlays for constructors, public items (not pictured in the below example) and members belonging to implemented interfaces.
2.2. Code Flow Explorer
The Visual Studio code editor doesn't have tools to assist the developer in navigating inside a method body. When working with fairly simple methods browsing their code inside the code window is usually enough to grasp a general idea about the code logic, but trying to navigate complex methods with hundreds of code lines, nested conditional blocks and loops, can be a very tedious job.The CodeSMART Code Flow Explorer can parse method code and output a tree representation thus offering instant access to the method's internal structure and logical code blocks.
2.3. Designer Explorer
With the CodeSMART Designer Explorer you can visualize a designer control hierarchy, select a control (which normally is not an easy job controls when controls overlap, are included in containers or simply are out of the visibility window) and benefit of several additional control-related operations and enhancements.
2.4. Code Library Explorer
The CodeSMART Code Library Explorer represents a convenient way to quickly store and retrieve code pieces written in VB, C#, C++, HTML, XML etc, thus providing a valuable help in reusing, managing and sharing pre-written code. It can be seen as a code repository in which you can store and organize different code items, group them in logical folders and share them within a team.
3. CODE EDITOR ENHANCEMENTS
3.1. Editor View Enhancer
Allright, here's how the code editor normally looks like - yes, I know you know, but it'...
BoostSolutions Column/View Permission SharePoint
COLUMN-LEVEL PERMISSIONS
Set column level permissions in list forms and restrict users from accessing or modifying columns in New/Edit/Display item forms that are set as hidden or read-only. Column level permissions also work in list views, ensuring that contents of columns are hidden in any view.
As of version 5.0, the product supports both SharePoint classic and modern experience modes.
SET PERMISSIONS FOR USERS AND GROUPS
Set column level permissions for individual users, SharePoint groups, and Active Directory groups. Also, assign column level permissions to users represented by Person or Group fields (such as Created By, Modified By and Assign To) or anonymous users, offering a comprehensive approach to access control.
SET PERMISSIONS USING CONDITIONS
The product offers the capability to set column permissions based on dynamic and field-based conditions. This advanced feature enables you to assign permissions to individual columns, depending on the values of other columns, making it easy to determine if and when columns should be hidden or read-only.
SET PERMISSIONS FOR DYNAMIC USERS
Set column level permissions for dynamic users or groups chosen from other lists, making it more efficient to assign permissions. You can also utilize conditions to identify particular users from a list and assign them column-level permissions, providing a more customized approach to managing user access.
SET VIEW-LEVEL PERMISSIONS
Set view level permissions for list views, limiting users’ access to the specified views by hiding the views in the Context menu or view selector. You can also make a view read-only by disabling the “Modify this view” command in the list, thus preventing users from modifying view settings.
SET DEFAULT VIEWS FOR DIFFERENT USERS
The product enables you to set default views for different individual users or groups. It directs users straight to their assigned default view when accessing a list or library, facilitating a more efficient and personalized user experience.
RESTRICT USERS FROM CREATING VIEWS
Disable the “Create View” command for certain users or groups, thereby that they cannot create public or personal views in the list, providing additional control over list view management.
More features to enhance your permission management:
FUNCTIONAL IN ALERT ME EMAILS
Column-level permissions are functional in alert me emails, ensuring hidden columns are not displayed in emails.
EXCLUDE USERS OR GROUPS
Exclude certain users or groups from column-level or view-level permission assignment.
APPLICABLE TO ATTACHMENT
Column-level permissions can also be applied to item attachments, thus users cannot...

Version 23.2 is a minor update but includes a VERY IMPORTANT bug-fix for lapw1. In WIEN2k_23.1 there is a severe bug in lapw1 for all "cubic" crystals (positive atom numbers in case.struct), which can affect severely the eigenvalues (and thus total energies and all other properties. Results for cubic systems in WIEN2k_23.1 are NOT reliable and update is required.
The program TRACK by Antik Sihi and Sudhir K. Pandey has been added to the "unsupported software page". It calculates TRAnsport properties for Correlated materials using the Kubo formalism. There are a few other new features/bug-fixes as compared to version 23.1 and update is highly recommended.
